Luo Xianliang, deputy director of the Palace Museum, said that the ceramics of the Ming Dynasty left a strong imprint on the history of world crafts. This exhibition presents the distinctive categories of the Palace Museum collection, demonstrates the history and culture of the Ming Dynasty and the wisdom of ceramic craftsmen, and allows the audience to experience China. The unique charm of ceramic art and its profound cultural connotation. Among the more than 1.86 million pieces in the collection, ceramic cultural relics account for more than 360,000 pieces, inheriting the palace collections of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Among them, the Ming Dynasty was one of the most prosperous periods in the history of Chinese ceramic development. Porcelain was of excellent quality and colorful, and became popular all over the world, becoming an important carrier of cultural exchanges and mutual learning between China and foreign countries.

This exhibition selects more than 100 representative Ming Dynasty ceramic treasures from the Palace Museum, 21 of which are national first-class cultural relics, including the Hongwu Underglaze Red Pine, Bamboo and Plum Picture Jade Pot Spring Vase, the Orthodox Blue and White Alum Red Colored Sea Water Dragon pattern plate, Chenghua doucai Sanqiu cup and Wanli colorful lotus pond flower and bird painting garlic vase, etc. The exhibition is open to the public from July 10.
